THE STANDARD OF THE BREED

These are horses of outstanding type and at the same moment of correct conformation. The first of them is the stallion 935 Yulduz (697 Gelishikli-1158 Gul), golden bay, born 1962, who is considered to be the ideal prototype of Teke by many breeders up to the present day.The second is the stallion Gench (Murgab-2210 Gulgadam), born 2004 at the studfarm Stavropol in Russia.

Gench is thought to be the best breed´s representative born in last 15 years. He won the title of World Junior Champion in 2006 in Moscow, year later he became the World Champion among adult stallions
