In an international competition CEIJYR* for 80 km also started partbred akhal teke gelding Eman (2000, Anis - Erakay, sireline Sere). Together with his trainer and rider, junior Petra Trojakova, Eman was placed on excellent 4th place from 22 starting couples. They completed 80 km long distance in time 4:22:18 which means average speed 18,3 km/hour. Congratulations !!! The regulation of the comittee ES n.
504/2008 establish the marking by the microchips for the horses. Horses
which will be marked after the 30th June 2009 need to be marked by microchip
on the left side of the neck. Horses marked till this date by the present
law are considered as the marked horses by the new law. Horses born after
the date 30th June 2009 need to be marked with microchips at the latest of
the 31st December 2009. Microchips are considered to be an passive
radio-frequency identification devices fully satisfying the standard ISO
11784, use the technology HDX or FDX-B and can be read by the reader fully
compatible with standard ISO 11785 in minimum distance 12cm.

(15.2.2004) On the 8th of November 2003 took place the first general meeting of Czech Akhal Teke Association. All of members met each other in hotel Tulipan in Praque. First speech had a president of ATA CZ, Petra Maresova. She recapitulated founding of this new association. Next point was vote of a advisory committee (they are : Zbynek Haspl, Edita Hoskova, Olga Kracikova) and a cashier (she is : Michaela Rejvoldova). Then was opened a discussion about program and goals for the future - showing on the exhibitions, arranging some races for Akhal Teke horses or our endurance goals. Petra Maresova spoke about her visit on World Championship in Moscow and in MAAK. The last point was introducing new websites for Akhal Teke horses. Martin Litov took care about all technical support. He is also a webmaster of these websites. (1.1.2004) On the 7th of June 2003 the meeting of Akhalteke owners, breeders and fans was held in Ritka, near Praque. As special guest took part Tatyana N. Ryabova, the Inspector of Akhalteke breeding from Russia and also three ladies from Great Britain - Sue Waldock, Lorna Winn and Thea Bentham, who helped with founding of British Akhalteke Association.
